The silver paint on the surface of the shell must always be kept intact, preferably 1-2 times a year to reduce the heat loss of the magnesium alloy furnace body. It is forbidden to directly put the wet workpiece into the furnace. When loading, gently handle it, do not hit the brick and electric heating components. Do not force the oversized workpiece on the small stove to raise the temperature of the furnace so high that it burns the lining. When the furnace temperature is above 350 °C, the furnace door cannot be opened to cool down. It is strictly forbidden to use compressed air to cool the furnace. When the furnace temperature drops to 350 ° C, the shielding gas can be turned off and the entire power supply can be cut off. Always check whether the temperature automatic control system is normal, in order to prevent the temperature from running out of control and burn the furnace lining, the temperature control instrument and the thermocouple should be regularly corrected. Check the tightening of the terminal bolts regularly. The magnesium alloy ingots must be preheated to about 150-200 ° C each time. All tools for the molten magnesium alloy fluid must be dried and preheated to prevent moisture from entering the magnesium alloy fluid causing an explosion. In the event of a fire or immediately shut off the supply of water and electricity near the furnace, and use dry sand and D-type fire extinguishers to extinguish the fire, be sure to calm down and ensure personal safety. Emergency treatment of furnace leakage: When there is more magnesium liquid, some magnesium liquid can be shot, and then several pieces of cold material are quickly added. Allow the magnesium to solidify quickly. After the slag or after feeding, when a large amount of flame appears in the furnace, the gas protection flow should be increased, and a teaspoon of sulfur powder is added to the surface of the solution to provide temporary protection. If there is a sudden power outage, the protective gas will continue to pass into the crucible, always pay attention to the metal surface of the magnesium alloy furnace, such as the phenomenon of burning smoke, increase the amount of SF6, and add the appropriate amount of sulfur powder until the call or drop Until room temperature.
